Happy New Year to you and yours. I've been enjoying your site very much. I've been collecting all types of clocks for about fifteen years, and do some repair at my home workshop. I'm curious as to how much you may want for your eight -day Black Forest  Clock. I really like the old Black Forest clocks especially, for some reason.  I have a few that I've 'rescued ". I  enjoy repairing and restoring things that were made to last, Thanks, Dwight Harrod.

I am restoring a Tiffany "never wind' clock which is the smaller of the two shown in the Mick Wilson article on your website. On the back side of the clock above the coils and to the left is a coil of fine enamelled wire that is unattached, where should it be soldered ?

Hi any ideas on a simple way to thread a new vertical wire through the top and bottom bushes of a floating balance.
Regards Thomas

Hi Dave, as electrical clock junky, I recently bought an Eureka #9415.
Fixed by a Dutch clock maker, the clock is in excelent shape.
One thing that is puzzling me. The spring makes a funny noice (like a spring does when it gets pushed and released).

Do you thing that is normal for an Eureka?

PS, if you know any Eureka-to-be -fixed for sale I am interested.
